A story about people, and about pipes ...
Media company owner and former Wimmera Mail-Times journalist Melissa Pouliot has written a book about the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline and the people who made it happen.
The coffee table style book is filled with stories about how the Wimmera community got the water back via one of the largest water infrastructure project in Australia. It highlights stories behind the stories, and what motivated and inspired so many people to keep on going with the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project, despite numerous setbacks. Many people have secured the long-term future of the Wimmera, which is a remarkable achievement and is book about people, and about pipes. Designed and published by her company mpmedia solutions, co-owned by graphic designer Lara Walsh, the book also features photographs by internationally-acclaimed photographer David Fletcher.
