GWMWater has now established the framework and procedures for a Wimmera Mallee water market. This has resulted in the establishment of tradable water allowances which are registered at individual customer level on the victorian Water Register. This will give customers greater flexibility in managing their water supply and costs as customers can now buy or sell water allowances on either a temporary or permanent basis.
