Reservoir operating rules

The recent completion of the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline has meant the way some of the Grampians Bulk Water Supply Reservoirs and other in-stream assets are managed in the future will change.

A series of ten discussion papers were available for community comment with written submissions closing on Friday, 30 September 2011. These submissions are now available for public viewing. Please see Community submissions - Volumes 1 to 3 to the right of this screen. A review of these submissions is currently being undertaken with the final reservoir operating rules to be forwarded to the Minister for Water for approval.
