The Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project

Project Director
Bruce brings his extensive experience
from senior roles in Vicroads and Local
Government to the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline
Project. He is responsible for the management
of the project, including the reporting
of progress and achievement to the Project
Control Group and GWMWater Board, and
to the Project Council representing the
Australian and Victorian Governments.

Andrew
Wundke SS6
Design Engineer
Andrew is responsible for the preliminary
design and hydraulic modeling of Supply
System 6. This includes identifying the
needs of customers, through identification
of houses and properties, and determining
the location of the new pipelines, pump
stations and storages. Andrew has five years
of design and construction experience with
the Technical Services division of GWMWater.

Max
Burns
SS5/6 Project Manager/Land
Access Manager
Max is a highly-experienced GWMWater staff
member, with more than 40 years experience
in the water supply industry. His knowledge
of the Wimmera Mallee region, its landholders
and the water supply system are extremely
valuable to the project. He is managing
the SS5 construction processes, the planning
and design phase of SS6, and WMPP Land
Access. Max also brings experience from
his involvement with the Northern Mallee
Pipeline Project.

Peter
Jackson Engineering
Manager
Peter has worked in the water industry for
over 30 years and has a wealth of experience
in water resources engineering and on major
construction projects. Prior to joining
the project group, Peter was GWMWater’s
General Manager of Technical Services. Peter
coordinates the project’s professional
engineers to ensure the pipeline systems
provided meet all necessary engineering
standards and functional requirements. His
role includes engineering input during the
design and tender process, construction
and commissioning. |

Trevor
Dedini
Customer Liaison
Manager
Trevor is responsible for coordinating
liaison activities with GWMWater customers
during the design phase of the Wimmera
Mallee Pipeline Project. With an extensive
knowledge of the region and the people
living in the region, Trevor works closely
with landholders to work out pipeline
routes through properties. Trevor supervised
the project's first pipes being laid at
Delleys Bridge and Brambuk car park at
Halls Gap in late 2005 |

Andrew
Sinn Pipeline
Project Infrastructure Manager
Andrew is involved in developing
the engineering design of the new pipeline
system, ensuring that the system design
achieves the engineering and operational
performance standards that are required
when the works are built. His extensive
knowledge of the region and his involvement
in planning and building of the Northern
Mallee Pipeline will be extremely valuable
for the Wimmera Mallee project. |

SS1 & 7 Project
Manager
John is responsible for administration
of major contracts and coordination of
construction activities with other disciplines
and external authorities. John has over
30 years civil engineering experience
mainly in the water industry, including
major dam construction and rehabilitation,
town water supply and construction and
operation of irrigation systems.

Jo
Bourke Pipeline
Liaison Officer
With a long history of involvement with
the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project, Jo
will liaise with and update the project's
key stakeholders including local government
agencies, catchment management authorities
and the community.

Ian
Spence Environmental
Officer
Ian is responsible for the development of
Project Environmental Management Plans,
liaising with environmental stakeholders
and monitoring and advising on environmental
management throughout the construction of
the pipeline. He joins the team after graduating
in Countryside and Environmental Management
from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland,
in 2005. |

Schier Administration
Assistant
Andree is responsible for providing administrative
assistance to the construction team. One
of Andree's key roles is to process information
and reports from Field Inspectors to track
the lengths and location of pipe being laid
each day. Her other duties include keeping
track of truck driver information, spark
testing and repairing of pipes, filing and
other administrative duties.. |

Quality Control
& Risk Officer
Fleur is responsible for assisting in
the coordination of the projects Quality
Assurance, Risk and Document Control.
She has worked and studied in Adelaide
for the past ten years and brings a wealth

Maggie
Harvey Administration
Officer
Maggie is a Document Control Officer accountable
for a couple of areas in the project. She
is responsible for creating and input of
all data into TRIM associated with the Land
Liaison team. Maggie supervises two other
data input staff. She is also responsible
for all incoming and outgoing drawings.
Maggie has previous experience in construction
and development working at Multiplex and
VicUrban

Jakobi
Project Accountant
David has 10 years experience working
as Senior Finance Analyst at the National
Australia Bank's head office where he
worked in a number of area's including
Corporate & Institutional Banking,
Business & Private Banking and Group
Treasury. His role as Project Accountant
includes management reporting, budgeting
and forecasting, expenditure analysis
and liaising with GWMWater's finance team.

Cariss
Project Manager - Electrical and SCADA Systems
Stuart brings extensive project and operational
experience in electrical, control and SCADA
systems, and is working on the design, commissioning
and operational phases of the project. Stuart
has an electrical and control systems background
across multiple industries including manufacturing,
chemical, gas processing and hydro-electric
power generation.

Manager
Adrian has extensive international experience
in contracting and procurement for major
infrastructure development. He is responsible
for the collation of tender documentation,
the tender evaluation procedures and contract
formulation, complying with Australian

requirements.

Resources
Gavan has extensive experience in human
resource management in the water industry

Senior Project
Engineer
Warren, an experienced engineer in geotechnical
engineering, construction supervision
and contract administration, has worked
on a number of large civil infrastructure
projects both in Australia and in Europe.
Warren provides geotechnical expertise

and will audit the contractor compliance
to the specification. |

David provides GIS support for WMPP, and
is responsible for the validation and

Officer
Kristy works as a Contracts Officer with
the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project Contracts
& Procurement. Her roles include preparing

& services; administration tasks associated
with tendering & contract award process
for WMPP; and ensures accurate & timely
input of data. |

EHS Officer
Peter had previously worked for a concrete
construction company for a period of six
years and has three years experience as
an OH&S officer and holds a degree
in OH&S. Peter is the Environmental
and Safety Officer for the pipeline team
and is responsible for overseeing all
operations required within this role.

Tony comes to us with 42 years experience
in construction. Having 32 years superintendents
work with Swan Hill City Council & Water
Board and 10 years as Managing Director of
Swan Construction. Tony with his experience

Rose
Davidson
Administration Officer - Document Control
Rose is responsible for the registration of
all documents relating to WMPP in the GWMWater
record management system. She is responsible
for the distribution of documents within the
WMPP team. Rose manages WMPP mail and assists
with other administration tasks. |
