Customer Liaison
Manager
Trevor is responsible for coordinating
liaison activities with GWMWater customers
during the design phase of the Wimmera
Mallee Pipeline Project. With an extensive
knowledge of the region and the people
living in the region, Trevor works closely
with landholders to work out pipeline
routes through properties. Trevor supervised
the project's first pipes being laid at
Delleys Bridge and Brambuk car park at
Halls Gap in late 2005 |

Land Liaison Officer
Originally from Alice Springs, Shannon
has had a long career in agribusiness
and frontline land liaison and negotiation.
He has resided in numerous regional and
rural communities, contributing in both
professional and voluntary capacity to
the regional community. |

Kel
Sleep
Land Liaison Officer
Kel provides a direct link between WMPP
and landholders during the planning phase
for each section. Kel’s previous
work as Works Coordinator of Operations
and Maintenance in Wimmera District is
invaluable as he visits individual landholders
to negotiate land access agreements and
determine tapping points for the pipeline,
construction issues such as weed management,
fence replacement, etc. |

Barnett
Land Liaison Officer
’ Barney’ is committed to
the WMPP and the positive change it will
make to the region. He enjoys providing
assistance to customers and colleagues,
in his role as Land Liaison Officer. ‘Barney’
has worked with the water authority for
28 years, as a field supervisor maintaining
channels, bridges, culverts and regulators.
He looks forward to having the system
fully piped and providing the benefits
of secure water.

Liaison Officers
This team are working with landowners identifying
their tapping locations, discussing pipeline
routes, and assisting where possible with
any other inquiries. They collect information
for Construction Line Lists, documenting
local issues such as weed management, vehicle
hygiene, site planning and seasonal issues. |
