GWMWater has a variety of activity sheets for classroom use. These can be used alone or as part of a comprehensive water unit program.

1. GWMWater has developed a Water Conservation and Water Quality Matrix and Wastewater Matrix to help teachers in their classroom programs. These two resources fit into Education Department guidelines (VELS). Both matrixes are designed around Gardener's Multiple Intelligences and Bloom's Taxonomy. Each matrix outlines a comprehensive program and is supported by activity sheets, web links and suggested presentations.
2. Dripping Details is a student newsletter distributed each term to all schools in the GWMWater region.
3. Schools are provided with an opportunity to win a major prize in the National Water Week poster competition annually.

GWMWater organises an annual year 9 and 10 water conference in June. The conference is the final part of a water program that fits well with VELS covering different learning styles and outcomes. The conference is supported by University of Ballarat, Horsham campus and the Victorian Government Smart Water fund.
