To minimise potential facility damage as well as to protect water quality and public safety, GWMWater restrict general public access to GWMWater facilities.

This applies to all GWMWater facilities, with the exception of the designated public areas of the headworks storages, or any other facility that may be designated as a public access area from time to time.

Unless specifically authorised, or accompanied by a GWMWater employee in the course of their duties, all persons accessing GWMWater facilities are considered to be trespassing.

GWMWater’s Customer Committees were consulted in the development of this policy, indicating unanimous support for a ‘total exclusion’ policy.

GWMWater maintain signage and security fencing to a standard which would reasonably restrict public access. GWMWater refuse to accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage arising from any cause whatsoever that may happen to any unauthorised person whilst on GWMWater property.
