We provide urban water services to 71 towns in the GWMWater region. All but two of these towns are on Permanent Water Saving Rules. See below for more information. Permanent Water Saving Rules
All Victorian towns, where not on staged water restrictions, are subject to the following Permanent Water Saving Rules
Permanent Water Saving Rules do not apply to the use of recycled or reclaimed water, greywater, stormwater, rainwater collected in a storage tank provided it is not supplemeneted by water supplied by GWMWater or another water corporation in the Permanent Water Saving Plan. The Victorian Government implemented these rules to encourage ongoing water conservation and provide long-term water savings benefits to the community.
