Original WMPP Contract Winners

In October 2006 The Australian and Victorian Governments announced that the contract for construction of Supply System 1 Yaapeet) and 7 Lake Bellfield to Taylors Lake) had been awarded to Mitchell Water. The construction of the trunk for Supply System 2 (Berriwillock & Culgoa) will also be constructed by Mitchell Water. Supply System 5 (Culgoa) is being constructed by Nacap Australia.

The tender for the construction of Supply System 3 (Birchip) and Supply System 4 (Wycheproof) is underway. Construction of Supply System 6 (Wartook) is scheduled to commence in summer 2008-2009.
